Understandably so, cookie tracking has been a helpful tool for consumer targeting. With the release of new online privacy regulations, 3rd-party cookie tracking is being phased out. As a result, advertisers now have to consider new targeting methods like contextual targeting. What’s the difference? Contextual targeting focuses on serving ads on the content of the page the ad appears on when the user is in the right frame of mind.
